Grand jury adds thievery assign opposite Williford

RALEIGH -- The grand jury that charged Jason Keith Williford on attempted attempted murder and rape charges in the Kathy Taft box on Wednesday additionally charged Williford with first-degree thievery for allegedly violation in to the home where Taft was staying.

The complaint accuses Williford of violation and entering the home of John Geil at 2710 Cartier Drive "with vigilant to dedicate a felony." The complaint says the home was assigned at the time by Kathy Taft and her sister, Dina Holton.

Holton called 911 the sunrise of Mar 6 to inform that her sister was draining and non-responsive in her bed. Taft, a state Board of Education part of from Greenville, was taken to WakeMed, where it was schooled that she had been intimately assaulted. She died at WakeMed 3 days later.

Police arrested Williford on Apr 16, 39 days after Tafts death. They"ve pronounced that DNA justification was instrumental in the case, but have not expelled sum about what they think happened. Williford lived about two-tenths of a mile from the home on Cartier Drive.

Police charged Williford with first-degree rape and first-degree murder. The grand jury complaint was the initial anxiety to burglary.
